^ I firmly believe what uncdan said, but everyone here thinks I’m being too stuck-up about my taste in guys. College guys suck for the most part. Well, more…I’d be fibbing if I said I didn’t have a “type”, but I can’t exactly pin-point it. I’m more of a “I know it when I see it” kind of girl, but the only thing that comes to mind in terms of a “type” is manly/masculine. Other than that, I’ll know when I see it!
And “here” actually means “here”, in Connecticut. On my campus and in my hometown. People can actually relate to me here on Tumblr, bahaha. But yeah! Same situation here with my friends! All of them think I’m either over-exaggerating or being a stuck-up bitch when I say it’s hard to find good guys in college, and I get that same line that I should leap at every guy that comes along instead of being picky.Rant time since we welcome rants here: Why the fuck shouldn’t I have that right to pick and choose who I should get involved with? I will not leap at every man’s feet like I’m thirsty, because I’m not, and not every man is into me for me. From experience actually, every guy that’s ever shown interest has owned up to just wanting sex, and then threw a fit and started ignoring me and treating me like crap after I wouldn’t give it to them. Those particular guys, some were attractive, but they were overall childish fucking douchebags. I can’t speak for anyone else but I certainly don’t deserve that treatment, so why the fuck am I not allowed to be “picky”?
We have every right to be, I think. Big girls who know what they want need love too, and so do twigs who are still trying to figure everything out!
LIKE I SAID THOUGH, I have a list of places I wanna travel! Can we talk over it and kinda combine our destinations together and just be flighty black women who love the world? :D

Agree 100%. We, as women, have the right to be picky. It’s our bodies, minds and souls that go into a relationship and some of us don’t want to give all of that to some random idiot who doesn’t deserve it.
It is hard to find a guy in college. College is the perfect place for people to fuck with no strings attached. Which is what most men and some women are doing. Which is perfectly fine. But normally the phase of fucking random strangers fades after sophomore year and then people are ready to be in relationships. Not always but most of the time. And for those of us who moved on from the college guys were were fucking with no strings attached for two years, we truly don’t have time for college guys when it comes down to it.
I vow that we both stick to our values and continue to be picky!!1
